ADVENTURE BIBLE FOR EARLY READERS

Adventure Bible is geared toward children ages 6-10. Within the first few pages they explain how they have their Bible set up, how to use this Bible, why they chose NIrv, famous people of the Bible and how to find their stories. I was thoroughly impressed with their efforts in setting up good instructions in order to help the reader understand and work through this Bible.

Zondervan Adventure Bible has each chapter and verse as a normal Bible would. Every couple pages has great little tidbits and pictures creating a more fun environment on each page. “LIVE IT” is a one we enjoyed, using the scripture and giving examples on how to live God’s word out in your life today. We also enjoyed the side bits of the “did you know?” sections on certain pages, having these little side bits I believe help keep my son’s interest along the way.

We used this Bible with our eldest son, Jedidiah, to read with me. Each morning our kids have a time set to do their morning devotionals along with me or with a bible story going. This is the time we use to read ahead for church or a personal time to spend getting to know God’s word better. Adventure Bible has been a great level for my son to understand what we are reading and stayed involved with the subject we were learning about.

Another thing I really appreciated about this Bible is the quality of the paper they used. Having 5 small kids, this gets torn fairly easy around here. So far some of the paper edges have been folded down, but nothing has torn! They are easy to turn and when you want to underline with a highlighter there are no bleed throughs. Pictures through the Bible are neat and exciting. Having lizards, monkeys, temples, and real illustrations on buildings being talked about.

Overall, we have definitely enjoyed using the Adventure Bible by Zondervan and will be continuing to use it. Thankful for the opportunity to review this product! Please check out the Homeschool Review Crew website to read more reviews of Advernture Bible Early Reader by Zonderman.
